Description: The nut-shaped fruit, formed by the upper ovary of a 3-membered paracarpous gynoecium, is enclosed in a sac. Pouch 2.4–3 mm long, 1.2–1.4 mm wide, rounded, slightly flattened, gradually narrowed to the nose in the lower half with clear longitudinal veins. The surface is dark brown, smooth, shiny. The fruit is 1.6 - 1.8 mm long, 1.1 - 1.2 mm wide, pear-shaped or back-cordate, triangular in cross section. The surface is dark brown, matte. (Egorova, 1966, Bojnanský, Fargašová, 2007).
